This week on Twitter, we had to tweet topics that point to sources found in our research and LR writing and retweet topics related to our research.

I chose this as my best tweet because it shows how parrots are uniquely equipped to make sounds and I found that very interesting. Some of the most interesting accounts I followed was @birdcognition and @avianbiology. Both of these accounts tweet about ornithology and evolutionary ecology of cognition. I thought these two accounts would help me in my research on birds and cognition. I also followed @AmOrnith, which stands for American Ornithological Society. One of the most interesting tweets I saw was about how the world’s seabird population has declined by 70% since 1950. I thought this was such a shocking fact, and how not a lot of people were talking about it. Some hashtags I used were #birdintelligence and #birdcognition. Under these hashtags were a lot of articles and videos on the topic.
For the Research Agenda Peer Review, I commented on Cuiwen’s page. Her big three was about chimpanzee’s cognitive abilities. The topics ranged from their intellect and self recognition to tool use. Something that I think she did very well on was her annotations. They were detailed enough to give me an idea of the overall research. She also mentioned the lead authors and she described the methods, results, and conclusions One piece of advice I gave her was to add pictures to make the page more appealing. Overall, I thought she did a well done job on her annotations.
