SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN
I used Twitter for my social media campaign.
Social media has become a necessary daily activity in today's society. It allows us to reach any audience no matter our location. With social media, we can share our opinions and generate awareness. For our social media campaign, we tweeted and retweeted topics on animal-related issues on Twitter. Twitter is one of the best social medias for news. Over the last few weeks, I have shared posts on birds and how they are being affected by habitat loss.
Two Best Tweets

I chose this as my best tweet because, although it is not my topic, it had the most number of quote tweets. A lot of people retweeted how elephants are much more empathetic than we realize.

I also chose this as one of my best tweets because it had the most amount of likes. I explained how deforestation is a huge factor and attached an image along with it.
Organizations

This organization is called Greenpeace. People can take action in many ways by signing petitions through Greenpeace.

For this tweet, I explained ABC's mission and attached their official website. I think this was my most successful tweet during the campaign because the American Bird Conservancy noticed my tweet and liked my post.
Problems

I think this was an effective tweet because instead of just mentioning deforestation, there are other forms of habitat loss. I wanted to emphasize that deforestation is not the only issue.

I chose to tweet this because the picture shows how much a certain species had been affected by pesticides and habitat loss. I thought the picture showed shocking statistics in the decline of birds.
Solutions

I chose to tweet this because the EPA is a government agency that people can rely on and trust.

This solution is an easy way for everyone to participate in. Promoting sustainable choices helps improve the quality of life for both humans and animals.
Infographic
For my infographic, I showed how habitat loss is a huge threat to birds. I also included a quote that explained how migratory birds relied on different geographic locations for survival. Facts and statistics were shown, as well as ways we can do to help.
